Location: 
The University of Waikato is located in Hamilton, a central North Island city on the scenic Waikato River. It is close to major tourist attractions and 90 minutes south of Auckland, NZ’s largest city.

Campus is a short drive to two oceans with world class surfing at Raglan, close to national parks and ski areas, offering hiking and snowboarding. The Master of Laws: 
The Master of Laws (LLM) Degree can comprise a wide range of taught papers; a combination of taught and thesis papers; or thesis papers only, totalling 120 points. This flexible programme structure suits the objectives of a variety of students; those who seek to upgrade their skills and knowledge through specialist taught papers, those who wish to combine taught papers with a significant thesis or those students who wish to engage in independent research only. A comprehensive orientation programme, a dedicated international tutor, excellent computing resources and workshops during the year provide students with on-going support and the opportunity to socialize with staff and other students. Entry Requirements: 
All students applying to The University of Waikato must meet the appropriate academic and English language entry criteria. Applicants whose first language is not English are required to provide satisfactory evidence of English language proficiency, generally in the form of an IELTS or TOEFL scores. All applications are considered on a case-by-case basis and all applicants who are accepted have the ongoing support of the University International Office. Fees:

Semester Commencement dates: 
Students may commence their Masters studies at the beginning of A Semester (5 March 2012) or B Semester (16 July 2012) each year. A student can formally register in our PhD programme on the first day of each month throughout the year.
Accommodation:
